In this IELTS module, Candidate have a face-to-face interview with the examiner. Owing to this, many of the students are not able to perform well in the exam. Here are tips to deal with this situation and to score what do want.
- Practice some question before you sit in the exam, this will help you to get familiar with what is going to happen in the IELTS Speaking Test.
- Speak naturally, don’t try to fake accent.
- Pronounce words clearly and accurately.
- Don’t speak memorized answers, try to relate answers to your life and experiences.
- Don’t speak everything in monotone.
- Be Fluent. Fluency doesn’t means speaking fastly but smoothly without hesitation, self-correction and repetition of words.
- Listen to the examiner’s instructions carefully.
- Be polite while you are speaking.
- Explain part 1 question with appropriate reasons and these answers should be 2-3 sentences long.
- In part 2 that is cue card, utilize 1 minutes which is given for preparation, note down important ideas even vocabulary you want to add in your speaking. Speak until the examiner stops you.
- Part 3 will the follow up section, it is basically the discussion part of your test. Answers should be well explained along with appropriate examples.
- Don’t be panic if you have made a mistake. Instead focus on what is ahead.
